I keep getting texts and whatsapp messages from “facebook” telling me a code to go to facebook and enter it to confirm. It also has a link attached. I’m not sure why I’m getting these messages. Could someone be trying to access my account ?

it sounds like the message you saw is likely a scam. Spammers and scammers sometimes create emails, messages or posts that look like they’re from Facebook.
